Integrative Psychiatric Care — Science, Holism, and You
We offer a full spectrum of psychiatric services that blend evidence-based medicine with holistic modalities — so your treatment plan honors your whole person, not just your diagnosis.
Conventional Psychiatry
Grounded in Evidence-Based Medicine
Our conventional psychiatric services form the clinical backbone of every care plan. Delivered by a board-certified psychiatrist, these offerings bring diagnostic rigor and pharmacological expertise — then layer in integrative context so medications and interventions are chosen thoughtfully, with the full picture in mind.
Psychiatric Evaluation
A comprehensive initial assessment covering personal history, symptoms, lifestyle, and goals — giving us a clear, nuanced picture before any treatment is recommended.
Diagnosis & Differential
Careful, methodical diagnosis that considers co-occurring conditions and rules out medical contributors — ensuring your care addresses root causes, not just surface symptoms.
Medication Management
When medication is appropriate, we prescribe and monitor with precision — choosing agents that align with your biology, lifestyle, and integrative care goals, with regular follow-up to fine-tune your regimen.
Holistic Modalities
Healing Beyond the Prescription Pad
Conventional medicine treats the illness. Integrative psychiatry treats the person. Our holistic modalities are not alternatives to evidence-based care — they are extensions of it, backed by research and individualized to your life.
Nutritional Psychiatry
We assess the link between diet, gut health, and mood — providing targeted nutritional guidance and evidence-based supplement recommendations to support brain chemistry from the inside out.
Mindfulness & Stress Reduction
Structured mindfulness practices — including breathing techniques and body-based awareness — are integrated into care plans to regulate the nervous system and build long-term emotional resilience.
Lifestyle Medicine
Sleep quality, physical activity, social connection, and circadian rhythm each profoundly affect mental health. We map these factors and build concrete, achievable lifestyle interventions alongside clinical treatment.
Supplement Guidance
Not all supplements are created equal. We evaluate evidence, check for interactions with any medications, and recommend only what serves your specific neurochemistry and treatment goals.

Common Questions
Answers Before Your First Appointment
We know choosing a psychiatric provider involves real questions. Here are honest answers to the ones we hear most often.
How is integrative psychiatry different from standard psychiatry?
Standard psychiatry focuses primarily on diagnosis and medication. Integrative psychiatry keeps those tools fully in play — but also examines nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, stress, and complementary modalities to build a care plan that addresses all the factors driving your mental health. The goal is fewer symptoms and better overall wellbeing, not just symptom management.
What happens during a first appointment?
Your initial evaluation is a 60-90 minute appointment. We review your full mental health history, current symptoms, medical background, lifestyle, and goals. We do not rush to a prescription — our aim is to understand you completely before making any recommendations.
Do you prescribe medication?
Yes, when it is clinically appropriate. We are board-certified psychiatrists with full prescribing authority. Medication is one tool among many — we use it thoughtfully, at the right time, for the right person.
Do you accept insurance?
We are currently out-of-network with most insurance plans. We provide a superbill after each visit that you can submit to your insurer for potential reimbursement. Contact us to discuss current rates and what to expect.
How long does treatment typically last?
It varies by individual. Some patients benefit from a few focused sessions and a clear plan; others engage in ongoing care over months or years. We revisit your goals regularly and adjust the frequency of care to match your progress and preferences.
Can I continue seeing my therapist while working with you?
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Integrative psychiatry pairs beautifully with psychotherapy. We are happy to collaborate with your existing therapist when you consent to that communication.
