Our practice blends conventional psychiatry with the functional and alternative medicines of Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine along with the latest advancements in cognitive and behavioral neurosciences. Our medical director is board certified in Integrative Psychiatry. Our psychiatric practitioner is a previous Marriage & Family Therapist, certified Ayurvedic practitioner and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. She has additional training and experience in Cognitive Neuroscience, neurodiversity, and childhood and adult ASD and ADHD. Our counselor is a Licensed Social Worker who is trained in trauma-focused and evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with several additional holistic and somatic-based therapies with a special focus on whole-person care. We offer evidence-based acupressure for treatment of anxiety and depression which has shown effective for "treatment resistant" conditions. Both acupressure and our red light therapy develop new neural connections, promoting brain growth in individuals whose thoughts and behaviors have been wired differently during times of stress or trauma. We offer deep acoustic vibration and chromotherapy that both soothe and calm the nervous system. Through our truly integrative model, we are able to provide the best individualized and appropriate care for our clients right when they need it most.
Many people who come to our practice have tried other avenues and have felt dismissed. They have been offered quick answers to complex questions, or told that what they are experiencing is simply how things are. We do not believe that.
With the right investigation, the right collaboration, and the right treatments at opportune moments, most people can experience meaningful, lasting change — not just symptom suppression, but genuine flourishing. This team is committed to that work. Wherever you are in your journey, there is a way forward —
and you don't have to paddle it alone.
Wellness Is Possible.
We Will Paddle Along With You.

findING the source
The Integrative Approach
At Envision Psychiatry, we treat mental health conditions by first investigating their underlying biological, nutritional, lifestyle, and environmental drivers — not simply cataloguing symptoms and matching them to a medication. When we understand how others actually experience the world, we can offer care that addresses the source.
Our investigation draws across eight interconnected root-cause domains:
List of Services
-
Genetic & PhysiologicalBiological and genetic List Item 1
We recommend and provide genetic testing to aid in the individualized selection of treatments, including medications, Ayurvedice, and Traditional Chinese medicine. This method tends to choose the most effective treatments without the trial and error. It also reduces the likelihood of major side effects.
We check an individual's physiology to the cellular and amino acid levels to understand how your body is creating and breaking down energy, hormones, toxins and neurotransmitters.
-
Nutritional and metabolicItem Link List Item 2
The body is a system with each functional component contributing to whole-body health. Mental wellness is not possible without addressing these keystones. Through an extensive initial intake and testing, we assess the way your body takes in, processes, absorbs and eliminates nutrients. We educate clients on adequate intake for regular system functioning in order for wellness and prevention of chronic diesease. We recommend only whole-food nutritional supplements and herbal medicines in the appropriate amounts for your body's needs and nothing more.
-
Circadian healthItem Link List Item 3
Recent research suggests the critical importance of devlopng sustainable routines that are aligned with the rhythms of nature and light. A very small part of our brains naturally
regulates our innate circadian rhythms. It's obvious that most of our human history likely scurried to prepare for sleep with the setting of the sun. We're not recommending everyone go to bed at sundown, however we may be mindful of our daily and nightly routines and whether or not they promote healthy sleep which has more of an impact on mental healtth and longevity than we can fully assess. We educate clients on these rhythms and seek to align activity, concentration, nutrition, relaxation, and rest for optimal energy and mood regulation throughout the day. Goodbye to reliance on separate forms of caffeine for wake-up and the afternoon slump.
-
NatureItem Link
Numerous studies and common sense have numbered the benefits of spending time outdoors. When we look closer, nature reminds us of our interconnectedness in the patterns of a leaf that resemble human arteries, a breath of air made possible by its tree. Nature begs us to explore with our hearts, minds and medicines - and be open to what it may have in store.
-
Movement & BodyItem Link
Throughout most of time, our bodies were more happily mobile. In our sedentary requirements of the 2000's, it is a true challenge to make time for movemenet and activity. We offer collaborative individualized activity plans, tailored to your body's specific metabolism, conditions, and abilites. Not every body can or will be active in the same ways, and that is absolutely ok. We will help you find yours.
-
Environmental & SocialItem Link
Whether we like it or not, we are social beings. In fact, it has been shown that a baby monkey won't survive without someone to cuddle, even if it be a stuffed animal.
Many of our clients have been hurt in the past and even continue to be harmed on a daily basis. For those who have not experienced a relationship to be helpful and comforting, it can be hard to believe how relationships can be beneficial.
People who live in economic hardship and/or have unsafe environments are much more likely to experience challenges with mental health. We we really think about this, it just makes sense. Stress takes a toll on the body and the mind, no matter who we are.
If this is you, it is not your fault. The body and mind react as they are programmed to do - provide protection from the outside world when it becomes unreasonable, harmful, oppressive, unpredictable and/or dangerous. Every body's survival mode is essentially the same. And anything that happened to you during which you had little to no control is wrong. There is no place for shame here at Envision Psychiatry, just as there should be no place for it outside our walls.
-
Purpose & MeaningItem Link
What is your reason? When life gets hard, we still have to get up out of bed and start another day. Go through the motions while everyone else seems fine. And we are drowning, unable to share or tell out of fear of judgment. So what is your reason for getting up, finding strength, and reaching out to our clinic despite how bad you may be feeling? If you haven't before, we will guide you in identifying and solidifying your reason(s), and finding purpose and meaning within them.
-
