Frequently Asked Questions
Still have questions? Here are answers to the most common concerns from new patients.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your initial visit is a 60-minute comprehensive evaluation. Your provider will review your personal and medical history, current concerns, and goals for care. You'll have time to ask questions and collaborate on an integrative treatment plan that may include conventional psychiatry, lifestyle medicine, and holistic approaches.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. We offer secure video appointments for most services through a HIPAA-compliant platform. You'll receive a link via email before your session. All you need is a private space, a device with a camera, and a stable internet connection.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that cancellations or rescheduling requests be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee. To reschedule, please call our office or reply to your appointment confirmation email.
How long does it take to get an appointment?
New patient appointments are typically available within 1–2 weeks of submitting a request. Our team will contact you within one business day of receiving your request to confirm availability and next steps.
How do I prepare for a telehealth session?
Before your telehealth visit: ensure your device is charged and your camera/microphone work, find a quiet and private location, complete any intake paperwork sent to you in advance, and log in to the video platform 5–10 minutes early. Your provider will connect with you at your scheduled time.
How do I know which provider or service is right for me?
The appointment request form includes fields for service of interest and preferred provider to help us prepare. If you're unsure of the best fit, simply note that in the message field — a team member will take the time to discuss your options and help guide you to the right provider and session type during the follow-up call.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
New patients should bring:
- a valid photo ID
- all medications, supplements, vitamins, minerals, and herbal bottles along with dosages and how often taken
- your Primary Care Provider’s name, address, phone number, email, and fax number
